Wigan Sports Club has been in existence since 1848, initially as a cricket club, and now also home to Wigan Squash and Wigan Hockey Clubs. Standish Junior Football Club use the ground during the winter months. It is a members 'not for profit' club run by an elected committee. New members, especially juniors, are always welcome. The function room and bar can be rented out for weddings, christenings, parties, conferences etc. Several local societies and charities use our facilities to meet.
