About us
Wigan and Leigh Community Charity supports the Social Economy in Wigan Borough by supporting over 100 Social Enterprises, Trading Charities and Community Businesses, to start up, grow, network and increase their awareness. We do this via a number of different services. These range from accommodation via our Platt Bridge Community Zone hub, Community Engagement to inspire local people to set up their own Social Economy organisation, through to Education in Schools and via our Business Support programmes (Our Business Cooperative and Proper Good). We also support organisations into Social Investment via our Proper Good programme.
