During the day, The Snug is a community-based coffee shop offering hot drinks, light meals, and a safe space that residents of the community can use to work, meet with friends and meet new people in their area. We keep all our prices as affordable as possible so we remain as accessible as we can to all residents of the borough. We host community events such as sewing classes etc. By night, The Snug acts as an 80-capacity grassroots music venue with the ethos of creating a safe and welcoming community hub that has music in its very DNA. Since we are the only GMV in the area that exclusively hosts original music, giving new and emerging artists opportunities to hone their crafts so they can progress is at the heart of what we do. In championing new original music, we attract audiences of all ages from all over the Northwest and beyond to our little deprived satellite town in Manchester, providing much-needed cultural events and employment in the creative arts.
