Cycling Without Age Wigan is a local initiative dedicated to bringing joy, connection, and fresh air to older adults and those with limited mobility. Inspired by the global movement that began in Copenhagen in 2012, the program offers free rides on specially designed electric trishaws—three-wheeled bikes with front passenger seats—piloted by local volunteers. It’s all about inclusion, storytelling, and building stronger community bonds—one ride at a time.
